Life’s Vision
Context: Individual, Cohort
Focus: Calling
1. Write:
A. A statement of your life’s purpose as you understand it at this point.
B. A statement of your future goals – both short term (1 year) and long term (10 years). What do you want your life to look like by that time?
C. A list of present hindrances in your life, with details of your plan for overcoming them.
Some sample Life Vision Statements are here.
2. Briefly present all three statements to the entire cohort. Receive feedback from other cohort members regarding your statements.
Please also submit this paper to your Pastoral Coach and discuss your plan with him or her. Also please submit this paper to the Staff. Your statement should also go to your Intercessor, Learning Coach and Ministry Mentor each time.
Note: each participant will repeat the Life Vision Statement exercise three more times during the year. We expect it to become more and more specific.
